Supervise and Monitor

  • Supervise and monitor various business office functions and/or processing of information for projects, including but not limited to budget development, compliance monitoring, rate calculations, personnel and contract management, and all financial reporting needs.
  • Oversee the development, management, and reconciliation of financial information, files, and records for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy and compliance with established policies, regulatory guidelines, and contractual obligations.

Management and Compliance

  • Manage and review fiscal information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies.
  • Support annual review of fiscal/operations policies and updating procedures and directives on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinate the monitoring process program compliance; including communicating expectations & requirements, reviewing budget submissions, invoices, and required documentation.

Staff Supervision

  • Supervise staff in the collection and reporting of necessary data for required projects and to ensure legal and contractual compliance.
  • Train staff to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and standard fund accounting practices.

Coordination and Communication

  • Participate in meetings, trainings, workshops, etc. for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information.
  • Coordinate with programs to implement workflow changes to improve efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison to a wide variety of sources for the purpose of facilitating and coordinating communication and/or providing guidance to various parties, serving in an administrative capacity for districts to fulfil contractual requirements as needed.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Certification: None required.
  • Experience: 5 years experience as an assistant business manager or equivalent.
  • Qualifications: Oral and written communication skills, computer literacy, strong organizational skills. Ability to relate and function effectively with people of varying backgrounds and positions. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
