About the role
The Assistant Director of Nursing will oversee the nursing operations within the designated department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing management experience.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in pediatric primary care setting preferred.
