Supervisor Mining
Bravus Mining and Resources’ Carmichael mine is an open-cut thermal coal mine in the North Galilee Basin, approximately 160 kilometres northwest of the town of Clermont. More than 1,400 people are engaged in permanent roles at Carmichael, with workers traveling to site on direct flights from Townsville, Rockhampton, Cairns, or Mackay (a flight time of approximately 55 minutes). Team members living in the Isaac region have the option to drive-in and drive-out with individual travel and fatigue management plans in place. Bravus Mining and Resources is part of the Bravus group of Australian companies encompassing thermal coal, solar energy, port operations, and rail network and rail freight operations, providing long-term employment opportunities and career pathways across the resources and infrastructure value chain.
