About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our Mt Juliet team and play a pivotal role in achieving production schedules aligned with cost, quality, and lead time objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful attainment of production schedules while maintaining focus on cost efficiency, quality standards, and lead time targets.
- Organize and address the training needs of teams to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a continuous learning environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the enhancement of industrial processes, leveraging your expertise to drive improvements and efficiencies.
- Take ownership of people management, including goal setting, competency development, recognition, and engagement, daily time-keeping, performance, and disciplinary management.
- Cultivate a safety-first attitude among all employees, promoting a secure and compliant work environment.
- Assume responsibility for the achievement of group performance goals and objectives, guiding your team towards success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, showcasing your ability to navigate the intricacies of production environments.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, indicating your commitment to optimizing processes and eliminating waste.
- Prior manufacturing leadership experience (leading a sizable team), demonstrating leadership acumen.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with teams and stakeholders.
- Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to identify challenges and implement solutions.

Pay
The expected pay range for this full-time position is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
Schedule
This is a 1st Shift position | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with weekend coverage as needed.
