About the role
We are looking to hire a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to work at our Riverside, CA site. This onsite role requires a U.S. Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) and 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 20–25 bargaining unit personnel in day-to-day production operations.
- Maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance, including regulatory record keeping, injury reduction, and a behavioral-based safety culture.
- Lead shop floor Real Time Problem Resolution meetings (Tier 1).
- Maintain personnel attendance and performance records.
- Promote employee retention and growth, fostering a “One Team” philosophy.
- Monitor performance metrics: productivity, production schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Drive relentless Root Cause and Corrective Action to eliminate repeat errors.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and optimize processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, and quality) to support smooth operations.
- Lead team members and overall team achievement to accomplish Policy Deployment objectives.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
- Working knowledge in Continuous Improvement Tools.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in MS Office.
Qualifications We Prefer
- 3+ years of experience as a Team Leader.
- 2+ years as an Engineer.
- Experience as a Supervisor.
- Experience working with Percent Loads, Standard Worksheet, Standard Work Combination Sheets.
- Experience with RTPR Process.
- Experience working with union employees in a union environment.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD – 144,200 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Schedule
Sunday night – Friday morning (11:30 pm – 6:30 am). Relocation assistance will be provided.
