About the Role

Directly responsible for supervising, assigning, and coordinating Maintenance Division activities to ensure a productive workforce that supports divisional, departmental, Clean Energy Center (CEC), and corporate goals. This role interfaces with department schedulers and planners to execute work, provides recommendations on training and procedure changes, and participates as an Emergency Plan team member.

Responsibilities

• Supervise craft personnel to ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively in accordance with CEC procedures, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations, and the CEC schedule.
• Ensure department personnel are properly trained, qualified, and supervised, including emergency plan qualifications.
• Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management, including disciplinary actions for assigned employees.
• Communicate significant CEC and personnel issues to the Maintenance Manager and applicable levels of management.
• Foster collaboration between internal and external organizations, including INPO and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure effective communication of company programs, policies, and feedback from employees.
• Participate in work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online and refuel outage activities.
• Support and administer Maintenance processes, such as training, surveillance, procedure revisions, and the Corrective Action Program (CAP).
• Identify and support improvement opportunities in work practices.
• Supervise vendor inspections and repair of CEC equipment, ensuring effective procurement and use of materials, tools, and Maintenance and Technical (M&TE) equipment.
• Participate in Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient CEC operations, including goal development and performance monitoring.
• Perform additional duties as directed, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 6 years of related experience, OR
• Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of related experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2 years of related experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent use of electronic work management systems and Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.

Pay

Expected salary range of $133,200 to $148,000, based on experience.
