About the Role
Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members in construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds. Ensure effective utilization of team member skills for plant equipment, buildings, and grounds maintenance. Develop, train, and motivate team members to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity, cooperation, and morale.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
- Review operational schedules and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Supervise off-hour emergency response to repair equipment and stabilize damages.
- Maintain awareness of plant maintenance policies and procedures, ensuring proper adherence by team members.
- Perform managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, coaching, and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management; and department budget oversight.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a Technical Field OR equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience in assembly or machining operations.
- Basic computer skills, including email, calendar, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
- SAP knowledge/experience preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing maintenance processes related to machinery, carpentry, electrical, etc.
- Strong electrical background preferred.
- Ability to solve practical problems and manage a variety of personnel and maintenance issues.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with and motivate a diverse group of employees.
- Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility.
