About the Role

The Supervisor Loan Operations leads a team responsible for servicing and administering complex syndicated, bilateral, and wholesale loans where CoBank may act as the Administrative Agent, a syndicate lender, or a direct lender. This role serves as the escalation point for borrowers, syndicate lenders, Farm Credit System partners, and internal CoBank departments. The Supervisor ensures accuracy and compliance in servicing activities, upholds CoBank’s policies and procedures, and maintains the integrity of CoBank’s financial statements while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workflow and balance department workload to meet expected time frames and Service Level Agreements, exceeding client expectations.
  • Maintain a sound operating environment, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, documented, and approved according to policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the team using in-depth knowledge of CoBank processes and loan administration principles.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the department or Loan Accounting on division or enterprise-level projects.
  • Coordinate and/or provide training for the Loan Accounting department.
  • Supervise staff by setting and communicating performance standards, monitoring performance, providing coaching, and recommending personnel actions.
  • Monitor and report activity volume, performance metrics, Service Level Agreements, and key performance indicators; identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Act as “Mission Critical Personnel” for business continuity and reduced staffing scenarios.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in syndicated loan servicing, banking, or financial services industry.
  • Sedentary work involving occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force (e.g., sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing).
  • Occasional travel (typically once a month or less).

Pay

The typical base pay range for this role is $90,900 - $111,800. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on organization and individual performance.
