Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day LDAR operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain the LDAR database, ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping.
  • Manage the Management of Change (MOC) process as it relates to equipment and regulatory updates.
  • Oversee Fenceline Monitoring programs, ensuring proper operation, data collection, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with El Paso Sampling methods and requirements, including coordination of sampling activities and quality control.
  • Maintain working knowledge of BWON (Benzene Waste Operations NESHAP) regulations and ensure program adherence.
  • Supervise, train, and manage a team of approximately 20 LDAR technicians and support personnel, including scheduling, performance management, and safety oversight.
  • Cover conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with LDAR program requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with EHS, operations to address potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of LDAR program experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of LDAR databases and data management systems.
  • Familiarity with MOC processes, Fenceline Monitoring programs, El Paso Sampling requirements, and BWON regulations.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage teams of 20 or more personnel.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and LDAR-specific software platforms.
  • Experience working in refinery, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of EPA regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be willing/able to work at moderate to high levels of physical exertion for extended periods;
  • Must be willing/able to work in inclement weather conditions (extreme heat/cold);
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary;
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities a plus.
