Looking to take the next step in your lab operations career? We’re hiring a Supervisor, Laboratory Operations to lead day-to-day clinical laboratory functions at a well-established and high-performing site in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and improve patient care
• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols and maintain accurate records
• Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory technicians and technologists

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Experience managing a team of laboratory professionals
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Current New York State certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
