About the role

The Supervisor, Clinical Labs is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinical laboratory department. This includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the clinical laboratory department, including personnel management and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to laboratory operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide guidance and training to laboratory technicians and technologists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Experience in supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current certification in a relevant medical laboratory specialty (e.g., ASCP).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
