Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services
- Supervise clinical staff and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Manage patient flow and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist clinic management in providing leadership and fostering collaboration among staff
- Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, administration, and other departments
- Problem-solve and troubleshoot operational issues, escalating to leadership as needed
- Supervise daily operations of support functions (appointment scheduling, registration, check-in/check-out, collections, referrals, etc.)
- Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of patient information in clinic systems
- Assist in developing and implementing office procedures and processes to support operations
- Provide administrative and clerical support to clinic leadership
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and comply with all policies and standards
Leadership Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and oversee departmental staff
- Schedule employees to ensure effective use of resources
- Consult with Manager or Director on staffing issues
- Assist with performance evaluations and goal setting
- Assist in managing departmental budget to ensure cost-effective operations
- Monitor expenditures and contribute to financial oversight
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency
- Contribute to development of departmental policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies
- Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation processes as applicable
- Follow quality control practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and safety
- Collaborate with leadership teams to coordinate and improve service delivery
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, new technologies, and regulatory changes
- Work in a staff role when required, fulfilling all duties and competencies
Requirements
- Associate Degree or higher preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience in the profession required
- 1-2 years of previous leadership experience preferred
- Authorization to work in the U.S. for an employer (not eligible for immigration sponsorship)
