About the role
The Supervisor, Imaging Services oversees the day-to-day operations, technical guidance, and direct supervision of staff within the assigned imaging area, modality, shift, or facility location. They ensure staff competency, maintain imaging quality, patient safety, and customer service standards, and manage workflow and staffing.
Responsibilities
- Directs departmental workflow and ensures staff competency
- Maintains imaging quality, patient safety, and customer service standards
- Manages workflow and staffing
- Provides technical and operational support
- Trains and coaches new staff
- Evaluates staff performance and initiates corrective action
- Manages day-to-day operations, including problem resolution
- Maintains accurate departmental records
- Ensures adequate staffing coverage across shifts and locations
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years Radiology experience in a Lead or Senior Technologist role
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Fluoroscopy license/Certification preferred
- Experience in a large teaching facility preferred
- Experience in one of the following: Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ARDMS
- Education: Cert Radiologic Technologist
- Basic Life Support certification
Qualifications
- Appropriate license/certification based on specialty (CT, MRI, US)
- Experience in a large teaching facility

- Education: Cert Radiologic Technologist

- Technical proficiency in assigned imaging modality
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of imaging protocols and quality assurance
