About the role
Provides leadership, supervision, and guidance to technical staff in an outpatient imaging department across multiple locations and modalities.
Responsibilities
- Manages departmental activities, maintains imaging protocols, and ensures regulatory compliance.
- Oversees equipment maintenance and collaborates on policies.
- Acts as a site leader for offsite locations and coordinates staff duties based on capability.
- Ensures high-volume exam scheduling efficiency.
- Maintains accreditations and safety standards (ACR, MQSA, Joint Commission).
- Participates in recruitment, employee evaluations, coaching, and vendor management.
- Performs employee orientations.
- Manages departmental compliance and quality standards.
Requirements
- ARRT or RDMS certification.
- Associate’s degree in Sciences (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 5+ years imaging experience.
- CPR certification.
