Supervisor III - Operations

About the role

Epitec is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for 2nd shift at our Waterloo, IA location. This is an on-site position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support hourly maintenance employees in a manufacturing environment
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals
• Monitor equipment performance and drive corrective actions when needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements
• Spend approximately 50% of the workday on the shop floor supporting operations

Qualifications

• 1+ years of production or manufacturing supervisory experience
• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Experience leading hourly employees in a factory environment
• Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills
• Experience planning and estimating maintenance work
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and tool & die processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications

• SAP experience

Pay

$42 an hour. Approximately 45 hours per week, with overtime and occasional weekends/holidays as needed.
