About the role
The person in this position mentors and develops maintenance personnel. They are responsible for managing a team of personnel, creating work schedules for maintenance mechanics, and looking for opportunities to reduce overtime by collaborating with business partners to schedule work during normal working hours.
Responsibilities
- Determine both insourcing and outsourcing opportunities to maintain the overall backlog.
- Ensure a safe, compliant and cost-efficient maintenance operation.
- Improve productivity and quality of maintenance by eliminating potential delays and obstacles.
- Ensure the process systems are maintained in a reliable, cost effective, and compliant manner to meet business partner requirements.
- Support communications between functional teams.
- Manage the backlog by establishing maintenance work schedules and coordinating with impacted teams.
- Review all completed work orders for proper documentation and close the work order.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a supervisor OR minimum 3 years' experience in a craftsperson, mechanic, or technician role
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications
- Experience with Device Assembly and Packaging Systems
- Demonstrated GMARS proficiency of planning and scheduling work
- Mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of Regulatory fields
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability to coach and provide feedback to employees effectively
- Demonstrated ability to set expectations and to monitor results
- Able to withstand exposure to temperature variations while performing work outside in winter and summer weather conditions
- Able to lift 40 lbs.

Pay
The anticipated wage for this position is $40.38 - $64.52.
Schedule
Work schedule is days 3-2-2-3 12 hours, with overtime required to meet business needs.
