Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, and other spaces after cleaning to ensure quality standards
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities
- Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms alongside the Front Desk
- Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards
- Communicate unresolved issues to the next shift and complete required paperwork
- Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
- Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Support and treat all co-workers with dignity and respect; collaborate to reach common goals
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Housekeeping Manager
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and brand guidelines
Requirements
- Legal right to work in Italy with a valid work permit for a full-time role (40 hours/week)
- At least intermediate proficiency in Italian and English
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience is a plus
- Understanding of rooms operations and luxury hospitality
- Technical knowledge of Opera (preferred)
- Reliability, motivation, and strong attention to detail
- Passion for luxury housekeeping standards and procedures
