About the role
The HopePath Program Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision and support to the HopePath Program team members delivering services to the families who participate in the HopePath Program. The HopePath Supervisor will possess strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills and will coordinate caseloads to ensure that team members provide all required services to families in a timely, compassionate, and competent fashion. The HopePath Program Supervisor monitors team members to ensure program compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, managing, and supervising the HopePath Program Team in accordance with organization, local, state, and federal guidelines, practices, and objectives.
- Assist in maintaining appropriate program accreditation, certification, and licensure.
- Implement programmatic plans, as directed.
- Implement policies and procedures assuring the effective operation of the in-Circle Program and participate in policy/procedure review, at a minimum, annually.
- Assure the integrity of services within the HopePath for Families (in-Circle) Program by:
- Reviewing current program designs and assisting in modification, as necessary.
- Assuring integrity of client records and personal data.
- Conducting ongoing audits of charts to ensure timely and proper documentation.
- Assisting in establishing and maintaining procedures regarding client confidentiality, as needed.
- Plan and implement staff development.
- Assure that each client is receiving care through ongoing case reviews and Child & Family team meetings.
- Oversee the case and discharge planning process for each client.
- Provide ancillary clinical support services for clients as needed.
- Carry out all administrative duties, which include:
- Meeting weekly with HopePath for Families Program staff to assure proper communication and input from outside agencies and individuals.
- Providing routine case staffing and case consultation for staff.
- Assuring the proper credentials of staff in the program.
- Verifying and approving time sheets for all supervisees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Managing and pre-approving all staff overtime.
- Verifying and approving all travel before submission.
- Hiring and terminating HopePath Program personnel, in consultation with the Region Director, as needed.
- Performing annual evaluations on all employees under supervision.
- Taking administrative on-call, as scheduled.
- Ensuring the integrity and timely submission of billing.
- Ensuring timely submission of all program reports, data collection, and quality management reports.
- Document weekly clinical supervision meetings with staff.
- Inform staff and/or other program personnel of client and family/guardian concerns, when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree required in Social Work, Counseling, Social Rehabilitative Services, or related field and at least two (2) years’ experience working with children and families involved with the child welfare system.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
- Mississippi licensed preferred or mental health certification from DMH within 90 days of employment is required.
- Must demonstrate competence in writing program materials, completing reports, and assisting with preparation of reimbursement documents related to payment for services.
- Computer skills required.
- Some experience with general marketing of programs and services to select groups required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance, and must be willing to use personal vehicle for organization business.
- Must demonstrate the ability to adhere to the organization’s code of ethics.
