About the role

Responsible for leading a team of 10 engineers in developing innovative solutions for complex software projects. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
  • Lead technical design discussions and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring a team of engineers.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and software architecture principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Selenium, or Cypress.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
