About the role
Responsible for leading a team of 10 engineers in developing innovative solutions for complex software projects. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Lead technical design discussions and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing and mentoring a team of engineers.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and software architecture principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
