Supervisor, Hardware Engineering
About the role
As a Supervisor, Hardware Engineering, you will be responsible for leading a team of 13-15 direct reports. This team supports the design, manufacturing, and test of instrumentation and control assemblies and cabinets for Plant Computer and Annunciator systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the performance of direct reports
- Hiring, training, and developing resources to increase bench strength
- Evaluate resource demand from projects and developing hiring plans according to ensure long-term sustainability
- Interface directly with production supervisors to ensure production and engineering teams work together with clear direction
- Evaluate and incorporate lessons learned from two different plant computer/annunciator system products
- Ensure consistency in the design and manufacturing process across the team
- Lead product and process improvements and cost savings plans
- Collaborate internally across multiple organizations
- Lead resolution of emergent customer issues
- Lead the development of cost estimates for new projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Experience leading a team of engineers
- Experience with I&C hardware design for electronic assemblies, cabinets, PCBs, cables, etc.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800to $146,000 per year.
