About the role

The Warehouse Fulfillment Center Supervisor will partner with other Fulfillment Center leadership to accomplish three goals: delight customers with outstanding service that exceeds their expectations, drive cost out of the organization by creating efficient processes, and honor associates by ensuring their experience improves continuously.

In this role, you will motivate and manage hourly associates to achieve performance goals, productivity, accuracy, and quality control standards. You will lead your team in daily, weekly, and monthly planning, recommend and improve department processes, and participate in hiring, training, and coaching associates. You will use operational reports to evaluate department performance and collaborate with the Fulfillment Center Team Manager and other leadership to operate within guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and manage hourly associates to meet performance goals, productivity, accuracy, and quality control standards.
  • Lead daily, weekly, and monthly planning for your department.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to department processes and procedures.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and coaching of associates.
  • Use operational reports to evaluate department performance and ensure expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with Fulfillment Center leadership to operate within all guidelines.
  • Ensure safe work practices and foster a safety culture.
  • Open and close the building; may act as a key holder.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1+ year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written).

  • Ability to accurately calculate, plan, and adjust headcount to meet department objectives.
  • Foster communication and teamwork among staff and collaborate across all levels.
  • Understanding of Fulfillment/Distribution technology (e.g., WMS, hardware, and software components).
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
