About the Role

This is a professional position providing supervisory oversight for the Family Works Program – Homeless Services under the Housing First Division. The program employs an intensive wraparound approach to support children from targeted Pinellas County schools and their families in achieving stable, permanent housing. It operates on the Housing First model, emphasizing immediate access to housing, individual choice, recovery orientation, and community integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, coaching, and guidance to a team of Behavioral Health Case Managers serving youth and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
• Ensure Behavioral Health Case Management services are individualized, recovery-focused, and empower clients to manage their recovery and advocacy.
• Act as a subject matter expert on interventions that enhance natural supports, coping skills, and self-management, as well as navigating homeless services and funding in Pinellas County.
• Ensure case managers advocate for clients, link them with needed services, provide education on mental health and substance abuse, and monitor progress.
• Oversee the provision of services in community locations, including homes, medical and behavioral health sites, hospitals, resource centers, and shelters.
• Ensure referrals to other service providers, such as therapy, psychiatry, and SOAR, and collaboration with clinical service providers.
• Enroll uninsured clients in the Pinellas Health Plan.
• Meet annual client-facing care productivity requirements of 9,984 hours, with a minimum of 1,248 hours per team member.
• Provide essential services during emergencies, pandemics, or disasters.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the Human Services field.
• Minimum of three years’ leadership experience in an outpatient community mental health or homeless services organization.
• Administrative knowledge to lead personnel with varied experience and training.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Certification as a Behavioral Health Case Management Supervisor.
• Certification as a Wraparound Facilitator in high fidelity Wraparound, with Supervisor/Coach certification within 3 months of employment (preference for current certification).
• Maintenance of all required certifications at the Team Member’s expense.
