Supervisor Family Support

About the role

Under the direction of the Family Support Manager, supervises the delivery of service to clients for supervised visitation. Oversees day-to-day operations, quality improvement initiatives, staff development, performance monitoring, and participates in the development of budgets. Articulates the vision and mission of the Agency internally to team members and externally to clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of supervised visitation services to clients
• Oversee day-to-day operations and quality improvement initiatives
• Lead staff development and performance monitoring
• Participate in budget development
• Communicate the Agency’s vision and mission internally and externally
• Support para-professional staff through case consultation, service delivery, and training

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field (required)
• Master's Degree in Social Work or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in a related field such as early learning and care, case management, child welfare, or child and family counseling (required)
• Previous experience in supervision and training (preferred)
• Previous experience with program and financial management (preferred)
• Experience with MA billing (preferred)
• Experience with public/private partnerships and customer interface (preferred)
• Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds (preferred)
• Must use personal vehicle to transport children and complete in-house car seat transporter training within one month of hire (re-train biannually thereafter)
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License (required)

• Focus on customer service and continuous quality improvement
• Knowledge of family support philosophy and strength-based service delivery approaches
• Knowledge of child abuse and neglect prevention principles, models, strategies, and methods
