Supervisor, Facility Maintenance

About the role
As the Supervisor, Facility Maintenance, you’ll take a hands-on approach to the upkeep and repair of buildings, ensuring they meet safety and health regulations and look presentable. You’ll manage a team of one Facility Technician, coordinate their tasks, and oversee the budget and vendor contracts for maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled monthly checks throughout the building
- Change filters as needed
- Check sprinkler heads during spring and summer to ensure they are working properly
- Make general maintenance repairs to the building, including painting, moving furniture, and building out workspaces
- Coordinate, perform, or assist in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing
- Inspect the facility regularly to identify issues and necessary repairs
- Supervise and manage the maintenance team and assign tasks
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for the facilities and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Manage budgets, including purchasing supplies and equipment for repairs and renovations
- Ensure all equipment is regularly maintained and operates efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Contract and oversee outside vendors for large-scale maintenance and repairs
- Additional duties as required
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Specialized commercial plumbing, mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical vocational experience in or after high school (helpful)
- Must be able to use tools and equipment related to these fields with expertise acquired through extensive experience and/or specialized training
- Heavy lifting, ability to pull, push, or lift up to 70 pounds
- Give and receive simple instructions and respond to questions
- Perform data recordings/record-keeping operations, determining what changes need to be made to existing records
- Perform routine mathematical computations requiring a knowledge of fractions, decimals, and/or percentages
- Read and interpret complex materials
- Basic ability to use a Windows-based computer utilizing email, create and edit documents, organize and manage files, etc.
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Must be able to acquire forklift certification
- Occupational Refrigeration License is helpful
Schedule
Onsite position, working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call time and occasional nights/weekends as necessary. Located in Oklahoma City, OK.
