Responsibilities

• Directly oversee the activities of assigned Environmental Services staff to ensure that assigned areas are properly cleaned and maintained in accordance with requisite standards of quality and safety.
• Assume responsibility for care of equipment, control of supplies, and counseling of employees.
• Make decisions regarding staffing of EVS personnel for the appropriate shift to ensure adequate coverage.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (required).
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred).
• 1 year of previous Environmental Services and/or healthcare experience (required).
• Previous supervisory experience (preferred).
• Equivalent education may be substituted for experience (preferred).
• Valid Driver License in state of employment; must adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program Policy 3500 (required upon hire).

Preferred Certifications

• Registered/Certified Executive Housekeeper (REH/CEH).
• Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP).
