Supervisor Environmental Services
About the Role
As an Environmental Services Supervisor at Medical City Lewisville, you will oversee the daily operations of the environmental services and linen departments, ensuring work is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. This role includes responsibilities such as scheduling, employee relations, hiring, ordering supplies, and quality assurance. You will actively participate in duties related to patient needs and the functioning of the hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate and competent staffing for the department.
- Assist in interviewing and hiring qualified staff, managing staff to meet employee engagement goals.
- Maintain acceptable turnover within the area of responsibility.
- Orient and train new staff, and provide continued education for existing staff.
- Ensure productivity levels meet standards.
- Maintain adequate supplies and operate within budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure services provided meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate / GED
- 3 years of experience required
