Responsibilities
- Monitor administrative responsibilities such as punch lists, rehearsal schedules, production archives, production calendars, and timelines.
- Assist with department auditions and casting.
- Teach all movement elements of a show, including new choreography as needed.
- Train, evaluate, coach, and develop the performance of the cast/crew in your assigned venue/area.
- Administer feedback sessions and evaluations in a timely manner.
- Perform various tasks for assigned venue/area, including monitoring team member hours and show schedules, team member documentation, updating/maintaining team member files, checking/responding to email, and assisting guests when necessary.
- Provide show direction for all costumed character shows and other assigned show products.
- Assist the Entertainment Leaders in all supervisory capacities.
- Oversee the performance and productivity of all location team members and assistant supervisors.
- Resolve all guest service matters for the department in a professional and timely manner.
- Supervise team members and assistant supervisors while enforcing and complying with safety procedures and guidelines.
- Train and counsel team members and assistant supervisors while ensuring compliance with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- Complete appropriate paperwork and administer discipline in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with Child Labor Laws regarding breaks, lunches, and hours worked per day.
- Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere that ensures the highest level of team member performance while supporting exemplary guest service.
- Consistently practice safe work habits, including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting, and reporting unsafe situations.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) months experience in a leadership position or equivalent external experience.
- No significant performance deficiencies within a 1-year period.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- General knowledge of theatrical operation required.
- Valid driver's license to operate parade floats required.
- Must have availability that meets the business needs of the position, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High level of guest hospitality skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task required.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements, including passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
- Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- Flexible, consistent availability and adherence to our Holiday and Availability agreement.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
