About the role
The Supervisor, Entertainment Operations Shows is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a specific show venue or area. They supervise staff and processes, provide direction and support to guests and employees, and ensure assigned projects and duties are communicated.
Responsibilities

- Support staff and processes, provide direction and support to guests and employees
- Communicate ongoing expectations to staff members
- Assist in creating, implementing, and managing an Action Plan to improve employee engagement and satisfaction
- Ensure show quality across all entertainment products and communicate concerns to appropriate stakeholders
- Manage labor and non-labor budgets, including reporting variances
- Plan and develop operating budget and capital expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year
- Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness of administration, venue/show area, and/or elements
- Resolve issues and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes
- Provide direction, development, and support to Leads and employees
- Communicate feedback and address performance issues, providing recognition and coaching
- Create and maintain SOP/GOP for all employees
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with other park department leaders and stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization
- Lead by example promoting a professional, inspiring, fun, and teamwork-oriented work culture
- Identify required skills and criteria for best quality hiring
- Able to assess performance and take appropriate coaching, corrective action, or termination if necessary
- Communicate performance goals and standards routinely
- Provide regular, specific feedback that employees can use to continuously improve performance
- Recognize the broader implications of a project; doing all that should be done, not just as directed
- Work collaboratively with all employees in the organization and support others when requested
- Seek expertise, advice, and perspectives from a variety of sources both within and outside the organization
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
