Supervisor, Enterprise Coding

About the role

Manage the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, and utilization and revenue cycle analysis.

Responsibilities

• Translate patient diagnoses, treatments, and procedures into standardized medical codes.
• Ensure accurate coding to support billing processes, comply with regulations, and maintain the integrity of patient health records for reimbursement and reporting purposes.
• Represent people leaders (hire/fire authority) with majority of time spent overseeing their area of responsibility.
• Achieve goals through direct and/or indirect reports.
• Supervise support level employees.
• Set goals and objectives for other employees within the Job Area.
• Develop solutions to a variety of routine problems, and escalate more complex issues to higher-level managers.
• Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 7+ years of previous coding experience required.
