About the role

The primary role of Supervisor - Administrator of Enterprise Business Information Systems (EBIS) is to oversee system administrators and technical resources who are responsible for implementing new interfaces, solutions, product upgrades, support, and production support for systems such as PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain, HR/Payroll applications, and other enterprise business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Leading or managing projects related to system maintenance, security patch updates, upgrades
  • Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders and supervising their work
  • Maintaining a solid understanding of system architecture related to databases, cloud applications hosted on OCI, Google Cloud, or AWS
  • Maintaining a proven track record of meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations, orchestrating disaster recovery planning, and maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Assisting in planning and designing the creation and retirement of application platforms and performing routine monitoring against web and application server and report manager components
  • Accepting customer needs to reprioritize projects or tasks
  • Managing a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties
  • Experience in the health care industry is very helpful
  • Will be required to travel to different affiliates within the health care system as needed

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading or managing projects related to system maintenances, security patch updates, upgrades
  • 5+ years of experience as a supervisor or manager of related IT resources
  • 10+ years of experience collaborating with external and internal stakeholders and supervising their work
  • Solid understanding of System architecture related to databases, cloud applications hosted on OCI, Google cloud or AWS
  • Proven record to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations, orchestrating disaster recovery planning and maintain SLAs
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred but not required
  • Any certifications related to System administrator, architect or related cloud will be helpful

  • Provides a backup support functions as Security administrator
  • Supports and delivers on time & on budget projects
  • Oversees all user requests in the incident tracking system and maintains it as a knowledge base system & prioritizes and provides a root cause analysis and pro-actively finds resolutions
  • Manages projects, writes specifications, develops project plans, runs project meetings, writes status reports, and provides timelines
  • Informs management of projects status, problems, and projections, while completing assigned tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with project plan
