About the role
As our Operations Supervisor, you are accountable for the day-to-day operation of a department within the Distribution Center. The emphasis is on effectively planning work to meet established timelines and supervising associates to achieve critical operational goals in productivity, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Support Operational Excellence by spending approximately 75% of your time on the operational floor, inspiring and engaging with associates through coaching, teaching, developing, and providing performance feedback.
- Identify and prioritize tasks to meet daily business goals and prepare the incoming shift for a quick and effective transition.
- Drive results by setting and clearly communicating productivity expectations for team members, including direct supervision of skilled employees and temporary agency workers.
- Cultivate Creativity & Disruptiveness by improving efficiency, quality, and service through process improvements and collaboration with leadership.
- Build trust with direct and indirect business partners by explaining business processes and resolving issues as they arise.
- Engage and Inspire by administering policies fairly, counseling associates on performance and behavioral concerns, and supporting company engagement strategies.
- Ensure a safe environment by driving safety strategies, recognition, and accountability.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of prior equivalent work experience in a high-tech distribution center operations capacity.
- At least 2 years of people leadership experience.
- Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and comfortability with computer/store systems.
- Resilience and the ability to react to in-the-moment situations and shifting priorities.
- Flexible availability to work nights, overnights, weekends, early mornings, and holidays as needed.
- Consistent and reliable attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to move product, and stand/walk the floor for entire shift.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $75,140.00 - $83,980.00. The actual base salary offered depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Individuals may also be eligible for bonuses.
