About the role
The Supervisor, Credit Analyst will supervise the daily operations of the underwriting department. They will participate in the development and administration of underwriting guidelines for multiple credit union partners utilizing the Origence services programs. They will provide training, coaching, career development, and feedback with performance evaluations for the team.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that teams are providing accurate, prompt and courteous service to dealers, members, and our credit union partners.
- Handles escalated calls from members, alliance partners and credit unions.
- Participates in the implementation of on-going system improvements.
- Responsible for recommending and implementing streamlined process improvements.
- Revises and communicates changes in direct and indirect underwriting and procedures.
- Responsible for preparing, maintaining, volume reporting.
- Supervises and performs functions as needed within the Underwriting Originations Department.
- Enforces adherence to policies and procedures among staff.
- Makes sure underwriting functions including, auditing application decisions, loan certification, and processing are being done correctly.
- Assists with meeting operational and departmental goals (i.e. department budget, overtime, service levels, turnaround times, and volume goals).
- Participates in department streamline and process improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience working in lending operations with a financial institution or relevant service provider.
- Success in managing lending operations teams including the development of sound practices, policies, and procedures.
- Contact center and remote delivery experience is highly preferred.
- Direct experience with loan origination systems and related industry tools and programs; experience with system implementations and/or administration is a plus.
- Knowledge of indirect auto lending or leasing, lending operations, and regulatory compliance.

- Able to interface with credit union and dealership management for the purpose of creating and furthering a business relationship on behalf of Origence.

Pay
The starting salary range for this full-time position is $69,000 - $87,300 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors.
Schedule
The hours for this position are 12:00 - 9:00 p.m. MST, this includes weekend work.
