This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of Claim Analysts to meet client and corporate commitments
- Ensure successful achievement of team quality, production, and service expectations
- Develop staff and implement new clients into the Unit
- Retain existing clients
- Answer complex or difficult claim questions
- Collaborate with the department manager to ensure all department goals are met
- Work effectively with employees, members, providers, clients, and co-workers at all levels, including Client Managers
- Carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, or diagram form
- Resolve problems in varying situations
- Read, analyze, and interpret documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)
- Support and drive continued process improvement
- Learn new/proprietary systems and adapt to various system platforms
- Use MS Excel and Word effectively
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3–5 years of claim processing experience
- Self-directed individual who works well with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Flexibility and openness to process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Self-Funded Insurance/Benefits and/or TPA experience

Pay
This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and conditions of the plan. The compensation range for this position is $42,200.00 – $79,300.00 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
