Supervisor, Assisted Living

About the role

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking an Assisted Living Supervisor to join their team at Eagle Crest North in Onalaska, WI. The position works 72-80 hours per 2-week pay period, typically on weekdays, with occasional nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident, family, and staff support in accordance with Core Values and care philosophy and goals.
• Interview, hire, and train Resident Care staff, as well as conduct new hire and annual performance reviews.
• Assist the Nurse team with new admissions and discharges, and participate in care conferences with the nurse.
• Work with the life enrichment department to ensure a vibrant activity program, assist the nurse in duties as needed, and order supplies.
• Oversee volunteers and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and capable of responding to the needs of residents and managing the complexity of Assisted Living.
• Must possess supervisory/leadership qualities, time management, and assessment abilities.
• Must have basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite, the internet, and other databases.
• Must be able to learn and implement policy changes as required by state and facility standards.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Willing and able to be flexible with time to fill in shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in a healthcare-related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a field other than healthcare, plus one year of experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home.
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience in a healthcare-related field with direct contact to clients.
• Successfully completed a department-approved assisted living administrators training course.

Pay and Benefits
