Supervisor, Assisted Living
About the role
Eagle Crest Communities is seeking an Assisted Living Supervisor to join their team at Eagle Crest North in Onalaska, WI. The position works 72-80 hours per 2-week pay period, typically on weekdays, with occasional nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident, family, and staff support in accordance with Core Values and care philosophy and goals.
- Interview, hire, and train Resident Care staff, as well as conduct new hire and annual performance reviews.
- Assist the Nurse team with new admissions and discharges, and participate in care conferences with the nurse.
- Work with the life enrichment department to ensure a vibrant activity program, assist the nurse in duties as needed, and order supplies.
- Oversee volunteers and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old and capable of responding to the needs of residents and managing the complexity of Assisted Living.
- Must possess supervisory/leadership qualities, time management, and assessment abilities.
- Must have basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite, the internet, and other databases.
- Must be able to learn and implement policy changes as required by state and facility standards.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Willing and able to be flexible with time to fill in shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher in a healthcare-related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a field other than healthcare, plus one year of experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience in a healthcare-related field with direct contact to clients.
- Successfully completed a department-approved assisted living administrators training course.
Pay and Benefits
