Job Responsibilities
- Assigns employees to workstations and assigns individual tasks to employees where required.
- Familiar with the equipment in the department.
- Trains employees, checks their work and corrects improper performance of tasks.
- Aids the Supervisor in meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
- Aids with the set-up, adjustments, and inspection of production and production equipment.
- Performs various pre-op and in-run checks daily or as scheduled.
- Locates supplies, checks code dates, and performs similar tasks to optimize scheduled production runs.
- Diagnoses production problems that occur in a variety of areas including quality, line supply, mechanical downtime and initiates corrective action.
- Completes reports, maintains production records, or enters operating data into system input points, as required.
- Ensures work area is kept clean and sanitary.
- Follows GMP’s and ensures employees are following GMP’s.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Leadership experience.
- Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF).
- Knowledge of SAP.
- One year of on-the-job experience with demonstrated understanding of process flow, quality, efficiency, safety, and organizational requirements in the department assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree or trade certificate preferred.
Pay
The starting hourly rate for this position is $26.00. This role is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 hours in a week and may also be eligible for additional hourly premiums for perfect attendance and/or working evening or night shifts.
