Position Summary
Essential Role Responsibilities
- Proactively lead a group of individuals to effectively meet stated team goals.
- Partner with Team Leader(s) to address employee relations concerns including disciplinary action, payroll inquiries, time off requests, training new and current Team Members on assembly procedures/processes, scheduling, and performance appraisals.
- Prepare work, assign work, oversee work product, and associated documentation.
- Responsible for quality control on product line, inventory accuracy, and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
- Resolve part shortages and material discrepancies.
- Ensure effective communication with all Team Leaders/Members and enforcement of safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain clean and functional workstations, and troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Team Leader(s).
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Action/detail oriented, strong leadership, and drive for results.
- Knowledge of production/quality standards, and assembly procedures/processes.
- Ability to work well independently and make sound business decisions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MRP Systems, blueprints, bill of materials (BOM’s), and QAD (Preferred).
Essential Education & Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma and/or G.E.D.
- Additional education (Preferred): 3-5 years electro-mechanical assembly experience, 2-3 years supervisory experience in foodservice manufacturing industry.
