About the role
The Anesthesia Supervisor is a key team member responsible for ensuring customer and patient support and coordination for smooth, efficient case turnover cross-campus (First Hill and Cherry Hill). The Anesthesia Supervisor works as a member of the surgical team under the direction of a manager, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer and patient support and coordination for efficient case turnover across campuses.
- Work as part of the surgical team to provide patient care.
- Demonstrate leadership in handling anesthesia equipment.
Requirements
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 3 years as an anesthesia technician in an operating room with demonstrated leadership skills.
Qualifications
Required
- 3 years of experience as an anesthesia technician in an operating room.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in handling equipment.
Preferred
- Associate’s Degree in Anesthesia Technology or Certificate of completion from an academic program.
- Certified Anesthesia Technician or Certified Anesthesia Technologist - American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians upon hire.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating or coordinating in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, education, and precepting of caregivers in a highly technical and dynamic environment.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $37.17 - $57.71 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
