Anesthesia Technician Supervisor

About the Role

Provides medical and clinical support, including anesthesia for surgical, obstetric, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Supervises clinical technicians, manages patient flow, supplies, and equipment in a complex environment, and ensures proper setup and maintenance of anesthesia equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with anesthesia procedures and monitors patient vitals
• Prepares and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
• Manages inventory of supplies and anesthesia-related equipment
• Acts as a preceptor for new staff members
• Coordinates schedules and supports process improvements
• Collaborates with leadership on staffing and safety initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Two years of anesthesia technician experience
• Physical stamina and ability to handle hazardous materials
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and infection control
• Meticulous record-keeping and ability to work under stress in a dynamic clinical setting
