Supervisor - Analyst and DevOps

About the role
The Koch Technology IT Employee Services supervisor is responsible for leading, organizing, and motivating a team of DevOps Engineers and Collaboration Technology Analysts to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering IT services and supporting IT products. This role focuses on coaching and development of individual contributors, advancing culture, collaborating to share and acquire knowledge, and managing the overall DevOps product.
Location: This role requires an on-site presence in our Wichita, KS office and is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Invest time in knowing your team and provide regular feedback and coaching to help them develop and achieve their full potential.
- Foster a collaborative environment that advances innovation, optimization, and automation efforts to support strategic initiatives and growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align vision, strategies, and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across business groups, handling and resolving customer escalations in a timely manner.
- Motivate the organization while understanding, developing, applying, and coaching employees on Koch’s culture framework.
- Develop, implement, review, and monitor group and individual performance to ensure the team addresses consumer issues and meets service level commitments.
- Deliver excellence in quality service and support.
- Progress the culture within the team by planning initiatives and driving actions for process adherence to support operations and change management.
- Maintain measures that matter to IT Employee Services and our business partners to improve business strategies and priorities proactively through strong partnerships.
- Engage in strategic planning and thought leadership to drive the growth and development of the team and its operations.
- Promote and use best practices and share knowledge and experiences with others in the IT organization.
Requirements
- Experience supervising a group or organization.
- Experience in coaching and developing employees.
- Strong economic, analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
- Experience establishing partnerships across teams and influencing management, peers, and employees in an inclusive style to leverage their abilities and knowledge.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive transformation; willingness to respectfully challenge inefficient processes or practices.
Qualifications
What will put you ahead:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT discipline.
- Experience in relevant IT technologies.
- Supervisory experience in Collaboration Technology, DevOps, or another IT-related field.
