About The Role The Cloud DevOps Analyst is a vital role within Gateway Ticketing Systems, responsible for supporting and maintaining the hosted environment that underpins all customer-facing applications. This position emphasizes automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient cloud operations. Working closely with the Cloud Architect, the analyst will gain hands-on experience in modern cloud and DevOps methodologies, contributing to the design, implementation, and ongoing management of cloud infrastructure primarily on Microsoft Azure. The role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to develop deep expertise in cloud computing, automation tools, container orchestration, and deployment pipelines. The analyst will also support on-premise workloads and participate in after-hours support rotations, ensuring continuous service availability and performance optimization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.1-3 years of IT experience with cloud-hosted products and services.Systems administration experience in multi-platform environments.Industry-recognized certifications preferred (e.g., Azure certifications, DevOps certifications).Knowledge of Gateway applications is a plus.Strong desire to learn and develop expertise in cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to interpret technical instructions and documentation effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.Willingness to work additional hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed.Understanding of networking, TCP/IP, client/server architecture, and basic SQL queries. Responsibilities Support and maintain cloud infrastructure resources in Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security.Assist in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform for consistent cloud resource provisioning.Develop and maintain configuration management and automation scripts using Ansible.Support the development, testing, and deployment of CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure Pipelines.Learn and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and reliability.Implement and support GitOps workflows using Argo CD for application deployment and configuration management.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure-hosted resources and on-premise workloads.Participate in after-hours on-call support to ensure high availability of services.Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks and troubleshooting.Proactively identify areas for process and infrastructure improvement based on industry best practices.Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and organizational standards.Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes.Support the maintenance of monitoring and logging systems for proactive issue detection.
