Supervising Psychologist with Expertise in Developmental Disabilities

About the role

Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults based on clinical expertise and interest.
Supervise graduate-level trainees (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and other clinicians, providing clinical guidance, mentorship, and oversight, in both individual and small group supervision.
Collaborate with clients’ care teams, including school personnel and other professionals.
Supervision group co-leaders for specialty groups such as social skills, Sibshops, DBT, and anxiety treatment groups.
Help lead monthly therapy didactics trainings for our clinic.
Participate in weekly clinical consultation and professional development with colleagues.
Promote awareness and understanding of developmental disabilities through trainings, community outreach, and advocacy.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Current Colorado license to practice as a psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).
  • Experience supervising trainees and/or other clinicians preferred.
  • Expertise in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, ADHD, learning differences, giftedness, and co-occurring mood/anxiety disorders.
  • Commitment to culturally competent care and serving diverse populations.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ethical practice.
  • Ability to practice independently and provide high-level supervision.
