Position Overview
Schedule: Flexible
Setting: Sub-Acute Rehabilitation and Post-Acute Care Facilities
Primary Focus: Clinical supervision, quality oversight, interdisciplinary collaboration, and support of Advanced Practice Providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants providing PM&R services.
- Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to APPs regarding patient care and treatment planning.
- Review, audit, and monitor clinical documentation to ensure compliance with company standards, payer requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct chart reviews and quality assurance activities to promote accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with therapy departments to support comprehensive rehabilitation programs and patient-centered care plans.
- Communicate with primary care providers, specialists, facility leadership, and rehabilitation teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
- Participate in case reviews and clinical discussions as needed.
- Maintain oversight of PM&R services and support quality improvement initiatives across assigned facilities.
- Perform physician evaluations and consultations as appropriate.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Active Ohio medical license
- Ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers in accordance with state regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation
Preferred
- Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings
