Supervising Pharmacist - Non Dispensing
Core Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for adhering to all relevant state and federal regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Non-Commercial, Non-Dispensing Pharmacy (NCNDP) Operations.
- Responsible for the day-to-day assistance with ensuring the timely processing and review of prescription orders/referrals to assist the case management team with patient intake.
- Maintain licensure of Texas NCND Pharmacy.
- Required to obtain licensure in required states as redundancy for pharmacy as a whole.
- Lead in additional state pharmacy licenses and P&P generation for pharmacy to convert to dispensing operations, if necessary.
- Aid in the development of non-dispensing and dispensing pharmacy operations and additional regulatory/compliance standards, as needed.
- Lead in creation of pharmacy technician training program.
- Lead in the training and development of pharmacy support technicians.
- Aid in the implementation and upkeep of relevant pharmacy systems and integrations into the pharmacy management system to ensure a highly efficient intake process.
- Aid in the triage of prescriptions transfers to relevant stakeholders to ensure a timely delivery of patient care.
- Aid in the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) integrations into the pharmacy management system to provide additional support to case management teams.

Education, Certifications and Experience
- BS or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
- Active Texas pharmacy licensure in good standing. (Additional state licenses a plus.)
- Ability to obtain additional state licensures as required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Pharmacy Experience.
- Preferrably 2+ years of pharmacy leadership experience.
- Board certification in pharmacotherapy or certified specialty pharmacy or other relevant specialty (optional but preferred).

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
