Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain contact with youth in the supervised release continuum.
- Communicate with stakeholders and work with program officials.
- Respond to electronic monitoring notifications.
- Prepare and participate in meetings and court hearings.
- Maintain communication with placing officials regarding ROP program and assigned youth.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with placing officials, including probation, social services, public defender, the judiciary, juvenile court, school, etc.
- Drive during day/night-time hours, which may include inclement weather conditions.
- Drive extended hours as needed for coverage.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Six months’ experience working with youth
- Meet eligibility requirements to be an ROP driver
Qualifications
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass a physical examination
- Pass a TB test
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week as needed
- Able to handle multiple priorities
