JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking all experience levels for the position of Superintendent. Your responsibilities will include planning construction procedures, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

What You Will Do

• Study specifications and contracts to plan construction procedures
• Coordinate expediting lists with the Project Engineer for material delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors' work in the correct sequence
• Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings and review 3-week short interval schedules
• Communicate with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors
• Obtain and monitor all necessary permits and inspections
• Resolve construction problems and improve construction methods
• Enforce safety policies and establish a safety-focused work environment
• Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with specifications
• Review and approve cost reports and back charges
• Coordinate and approve time and material costs with sub-contractors
• Maintain daily paperwork

What You Will Need

• At least 5 years of experience supervising ground-up multi-million dollar commercial construction projects
• Experience overseeing projects valued between $10-$20M in the retail sector
• Willingness to travel as required
• Highly motivated and passionate about excellence and initiative-taking
• Professional communication skills with all organizational levels
• Valid/Active Drivers License
