About the Role
CCI Facility Contractors, LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking an experienced Triple Hat Superintendent/Quality Control Manager/Site Safety & Health Officer. This role entails scheduling, quality control, safety and occupational health management, monitoring, assessments, safety site orientation, activity-specific education, and assurance of compliance. The position will report to the project site in Corpus Christi, TX.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to contract documents.
- Manage/maintain all necessary planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting for project activities.
- Coordinate/communicate with the Project Manager daily and with the Owner as necessary.
- Manage subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, and AHJ field coordination daily.
- Attend pre-construction conferences, pre-work meetings, and three-phase inspection meetings.
- Manage/maintain weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and attend/participate in weekly Owner’s meetings.
- Review and be knowledgeable of subcontractor’s scope of work, budget, and cost structure.
- Prepare short-term detailed look-ahead schedules weekly and provide monthly input on project schedules.
- Coordinate progress billing with subcontractors and the Owner monthly.
- Oversee quality control and safety programs, including deliveries, staging, and equipment usage.
- Ensure project conformance to national and local building codes.
- Maintain accurate daily records and perform safety and occupational health management tasks.
- Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and mishap investigations.
- Develop, review, and enforce safety submittals, Accident Prevention Plans (APP), and Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA).
- Monitor subcontractor safety and health compliance and verify safety qualifications.
- Maintain safety logs, OSHA Form 300, and safety reference materials on site.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of federal construction experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or Coast Guard.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive construction industry experience in supervising/managing general construction.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- CQM-C Certification.
- EM 385-1-1 40-hour certification.
- Experience with Procore and RMS.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PDF.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
- If applicable, must obtain appropriate clearance levels and access to military installations.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate. Essential functions may involve bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods; working outdoors in various weather conditions; and lifting up to 35 pounds. Must use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. Outdoor settings include exposure to heat, cold, and potentially wildlife. Occasionally exposed to fumes, chemicals, and loud noise.
