Superintendent -- New Build Steakhouse/Casual Dining -- Travel
Kelley Construction is a multi-faceted commercial and industrial general contractor licensed to perform work in many states across the United States. We offer technical expertise in commercial construction including restaurants, medical facilities, warehousing, fast food chains, large design-build expansions, and general office renovation. We also have broad experience in industrial construction, from liquid storage and containment and petroleum-related construction to pre-engineered metal buildings and concrete construction.
About the role
Manages resources and subcontractors for safety, efficiency, and productivity. Provides overall multi-site administrative and technical management for maintenance and project work at client facilities. The role involves traveling the country to build and renovate restaurants as part of a team consisting of a general superintendent, project manager, and project coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Oversee job site safety practices
- Manage subcontractors and resources
- Ensure productivity and efficiency on job sites
- Follow instructions, read, and interpret construction plans
- Communicate effectively with personnel, clients, customers, and architects
Requirements
- 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent (strongly desired)
- Experience in concrete, framing, and finish carpentry
- Familiarity with computers and ability to use company software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the U.S.
- Strong managerial skills
- Team player with ability to travel consistently
