Traveling Superintendent- Restaurant Construction

An entrepreneurial, fast-growing construction contractor is expanding its field operations and seeking experienced Traveling Superintendents to deliver projects nationwide. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, visibility with senior leadership, and the opportunity to grow with a business building a strong national footprint.

About the role

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will report directly to the General Superintendent and take full ownership of on-site delivery for multiple retail construction projects across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day site operations on fast-paced retail builds
• Managing subcontractors, schedules, and quality control
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards
• Coordinating with Project Managers and senior leadership
• Driving projects to meet aggressive timelines and budgets
• Acting as the senior on-site representative with clients and partners

Requirements

• A strong background in retail or restaurant construction (essential)
• Proven experience delivering projects in live or fast-track environments
• Willingness and ability to travel nationally on a consistent basis
• Confident, hands-on leadership style with subcontractors and site teams
• A self-starter mindset suited to a lean, high-trust organization

Exposure to healthcare or medical construction is advantageous, but not essential. This role is not targeting solely QSR (quick serve restaurants).

• Base salary up to $120,000
• $600 per month vehicle allowance added to base salary
