Superintendent (Multifamily Construction)

About the role

The current project is in Columbus, Ohio. We're seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our dedicated team in delivering high-quality, multi-family properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise trade contractors and monitor work quality daily.
• Train and mentor project superintendents on field management techniques.
• Ensure job site compliance with all OSHA safety requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with lender representatives, architects, and engineers.
• Cook up and maintain relationships with local utility companies for final taps and approvals.
• Lead the creation of as-built drawings and obtain the Certificate of Occupancy.
• Travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 15 years of experience in multi-family construction supervisory roles.
• Strong language, math, and reasoning skills.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, contract terms, and purchase orders.
• Intermediate skills with MS Office and MS Project.
• Understanding of civil, architectural, and structural design; knowledge of MEP design, estimating skills, and local/state building codes.
