Superintendent - MEP

About the role

The Superintendent - MEP is responsible for field operations on the project(s) assigned in order to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. The position requires strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises field labor force, including laborers/craft workers.
• Ensures adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Coordinates with architectural and other trades to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Manages subcontractors and ensures timely delivery of materials and services.
• Interacts with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven MEP construction experience.
• 7+ years of safety and QAQC cultural knowledge.
• 5+ years of electrical trade specific knowledge.
• 5+ years of experience managing schedules and subcontractors.
• 5+ years of experience working with contracts and exhibits.
• Demonstrated ability to understand plans and specs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Experience in managing complex projects.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.

• Proficient in construction management software.
